Coronavirus has become a global pandemic. With this, there are many teams working to put together new protocols for safe practices within a work environment. Though we do not know much for certain about this virus, there are safety precautions that should be taken to ensure as much safety as they can.

At Promedica, safety standards have been raised for not only the patients well-being but also for each of the employees safety.

In their effort to contain coronavirus, Promedica has been following  along what the CDC has recommended. They have been keeping in close contract with local, and state health agencies to keep up to date. As every facility is different, there is a set of regulations that have been set in place of every facility:

  • Coronavirus symptom and temperature screenings for patients, visitors and employees at facility entrances.
  • Provided masks for patients and visitors.
  • Hand sanitizer at entrances, exits and throughout facilities.
  • Waiting rooms to accommodate social distancing.
  • Appointment scheduling to accommodate social distancing.
  • Enhanced cleaning protocols, using disinfectants and products effective against the COVID-19 virus.
  • Employees wearing masks and other personal protective equipment.
  • Screening stations to monitor all staff, employees and suppliers entering our facilities.
This is to ensure everyone can not only have a better price of mine during these hard times but also to help in a physical aspect.
